Metallic foil Transfer is a special eye catching graphic effect for t-shirts. It produces a shiny “metal-appearing” surface on various types of fabrics by using a heat press

Step #1: Load Garment

Make sure your project surface is clean and pre heat press garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and winkles.

Step #2: Position Transfer:

Place Transfer Media in desired location, adhesive material or ink side down and cover it with Teflon sheet.

Step #3: Heat Press

Heat press following settings by Heat Transfer Media

Siser Adhesive: 23 second at 300 -310 ° F

Screen Print:  10seconds at 310° F

OneStep HI Temp Plus NoWeed: 10 seconds at 330° F

Step #4: Hot Peel

Open heat press, Remove Teflon sheet and peel with smooth steady motion.

Step #5: Cut foil

Cut the foil a half inch bigger than the designed image

Step #6: Position Foil

Place foil over top of the image It is must be applied shiny side up.

Cover Foil with Teflon Sheet.

Step #7: Heat Press Foil

Heat press 10-15 sec. at 300-325° F

Step #8: Cool and Peel Foil

Peel off gently after completely cool down

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

For best durability of the foil after it is applied, it is recommended that the garment be hand washed or machine washed (delicate cycle) inside out and line or air dried. Do not use bleach. Do not iron printed area.

Recommended Washing Conditions:

1. Machine wash - Delicate cycle

2. Wash garment inside out

3. Washer temperature setting: Cold / Cold

4. Detergent: use Typical (All, or Tide w/Bleach Alternative)

5. Drying: Line or air dry only

Under these conditions,

T-shirt foils should hold up to 5 wash cycles.

A 15-20% loss of gloss or color brilliance is typical, even after the first wash, but foils should stay relatively intact.
