Sublimation papers at a glance
- EasySubli: press at 311°F (155°C), medium pressure, 15 seconds, peel the mask warm. Not recommended for layering.
- HT-SubliDark: press at 320°F (160°C), medium pressure, 10–15 seconds, peel the transfer tape warm.
- TexPrint and TruePix: these are dye-sublimation papers for sublimation inks and suit hard surfaces such as mugs, metal and wood, and 100% polyester fabric.
- Ink pairing: EasySubli and SubliDark give the best results with EasySubli Inks by Sawgrass and the SG500 or SG1000 printers.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use sublimation on colored or cotton fabric?
Siser EasySubli is made for that. It lets sublimation inks be used on colored polyester and on cotton, rayon, wool and other fabrics. HT-SubliDark is made for dark or colored garments in cotton, polyester and poly/cotton blends.
What is the difference between EasySubli and sublimation paper?
Sublimation paper such as TexPrint or TruePix transfers the ink straight to a polyester or coated surface. EasySubli and SubliDark are heat transfer vinyl that you print, cut and weed, then press onto the garment with a mask.
Are the papers renamed?
Yes. TexPrint R is now sold as TexPrint DT Heavy and TexPrint XPHR as TexPrint DT Light. Our listings note that the paper is the same, so you may receive either label.
Is EasySubli safe for children’s clothing?
Yes. EasySubli and HT-SubliDark are both CPSIA certified.
